Woodworm Party Store Holiday Fair
Thanks for having me, Woodworm Party Store!
Big Trees Scottish Gathering and Highland Games
We had such a nice variety of requests for this one, fun creative license, friendly people, a beautiful day (save for the gusty wind that had us hanging on to our booth poles!) and pipers’ music in the air. Thanks for coming out and playing!
Santa Cruz Mountains Harvest Festival
Pet Health Festival
Capitola Art & Wine Festival This time we specialized in designs for adults, ’cause so often grownups look longingly into the booth, but don’t want to upstage the kids. But everyone should get to play, right?!
And, of course, kids like face painting too…
Santa Cruz Mountains Art & Wine Festival Nice local community event, even got some folks from out of town into our pretty valley. If you see some blue teeth in these pics, it’s because the snow cones were so popular!
The Church Street Fair — great music, art, performances, sound system …in short, a class act with incredible support from the Civic staff. I’m grateful to have been part of it.
I’m available for parties.
I also do fine art body painting (tasteful not trashy!) for events, special portraits, etc. I’m happy to brainstorm, just email or call.
and some from my Assistant Julia:
American Dream Realty BBQ in Felton with complimentary face painting — how nice when kids can choose anything they want!
Face Painting at the Redwood Mountain Faire:
Superhero designs for a party
This eye gash – scar is painted on … kinda convincing, right?
What a fun birthday party this was! I love being a face painter, especially with nice families like these. And I set a personal speed record this day.
Oh my gosh, I love this little guy! I think in the future I’ll put the white closer to the eyes and the black eyelines all the way around, but isn’t he fabulous?!
Isn’t this fox girl super cute? She helped me discover the wacky “What Does a Fox say?” Song – wow.
Rarrrr, tiger & cheetah in the park!
This little fellow was such a big fan of Percy (friend to Thomas the tank engine) that he even wanted me to include couplings properly! Now I know a little more about trains– I love this job!
These nice girls at a birthday party inspired me to embellish the “eye swirls” design I’ve been doing for years, and turn it into a more complete face design. Thanks– I love collaborative design!
Santa Cruz Mountains Harvest Festival What a fun community event! I really enjoyed trying out some new designs this year too.
Hey, I’ve got all sorts of Fall, harvest, halloween, and Dia de los Muertos painting ready to go — let me know if there’s a festival, party, or private appointment you’d like me at.
(Apologies to folks we didn’t get photos of — next year I’ll bring more assistants!)
Party in Soquel:
Such joyful ferocious tigers to paint!

Museum of Art & History Games & Folklore Event — Mythical Makeover Station:
(Apologies for a couple of MAH photos that have mysteriously disappeared! If they were your kids, come see me at a future event for a freebie.)
Frozen-themed Birthday party:
Here are a few from the Tanniversary:
These are from the Redwood Mountain Faire 2014 at Roaring Camp. What fun! What great music and beautiful weather! What a lot of nice people of all ages– I am happy to be part of this community.
These are from the Memorial Day weekend Festival put on by the Boulder Creek Parks & Rec Dept
At the Museum of Art & History, there was a great Fashion & Body Art event where I got to customize designs for each person –how cool!
Here’s some of what happened:
And here are a couple of birthday party pics:
This is what happens when a bunch of teen boys get painted! Their rule: No two the same color.
